Terms of service
The deal, in plain words.
Effective 5 September 2026
Who we are
conditiond is operated by Conditiond App (ABN 24 231 575 147), an Australian registered partnership. These terms apply when you use the conditiond website, web app or mobile apps. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.
Reach us any time at hello@conditiond.app.
What conditiond does
conditiond turns fitness test results into Maximal Aerobic Speed, sorts athletes into conditioning groups, and prescribes running sessions as a percentage of each athlete's MAS. It is a planning and prescription tool for coaches. It is not a substitute for coaching judgement, and it does not supervise a session.
Safety, and what we are not
conditiond prescribes physical exertion. It is not medical advice, and we are not a medical service. Nothing it produces is a diagnosis, a clearance to train, or a judgement about whether a particular athlete is fit to do a particular session on a particular day.
The coach or organisation running a session is responsible for the athletes in it — for screening them, for supervising them, for adjusting or stopping a session, and for having appropriate first aid and emergency procedures. A prescription generated by conditiond is a starting point for a qualified coach, not an instruction to be followed without judgement.
- Athletes should be medically cleared for high-intensity exercise before training to prescription.
- Test results, and therefore every session derived from them, are only as good as the testing that produced them.
- Where an athlete is injured, unwell, returning from illness, or in any doubt, the coach's judgement overrides anything the software says.
Accounts
You need an account to use conditiond, and you're responsible for what happens under it — including keeping your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
Coach accounts create and manage an organisation. Athlete accounts see their own data only. If you add athletes to an organisation, you're confirming you have the right to hold their information for that purpose — and where an athlete is under 18, that you have appropriate consent from a parent or guardian.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are priced by the number of athletes you can run. Every paid tier includes unlimited teams. Current prices are on our pricing page, in Australian dollars including GST, and annual is charged at ten times the monthly price.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record for every conditiond subscription. Paddle is the seller for the transaction, handles tax, and its buyer terms apply to your purchase alongside these terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds are covered by our refund policy. If your squad grows past your tier's athlete limit, you'll need to move up a tier to add more — nothing is migrated or re-onboarded when you do, and we'll flag it before you hit the ceiling.
We may change prices. If we do, we'll give you notice before it affects a renewal, and the change never applies to a period you've already paid for.
Acceptable use
Use conditiond for coaching and training. Don't use it to break the law, to upload someone else's data without the right to, to attempt to access another organisation's data, to probe or interfere with the service, or to resell it as your own.
Your data
You keep ownership of the data you put into conditiond. We hold it to run the service, as described in our privacy policy, and organisations are isolated from each other at the database level.
We may use anonymised, aggregated data that no longer identifies any individual, team or organisation to improve the product and build population benchmarks.
Availability
We work to keep conditiond available, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you.
Liability
Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, and nothing here limits them. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, we limit it to resupplying the service or refunding what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Subject to those rights, we are not liable for injury or loss arising from how a session was conducted, supervised or adapted — that sits with the coach and organisation running it, as set out under Safety above.
Ending things
You can stop using conditiond at any time, and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we're required to by law. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund the unused part of anything you've paid.
Changes, and which law applies
If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update this page, revise the effective date, and tell account holders. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction — without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
